Attorney Deborah Schweizer to Speak at 4th Annual Asbestos Litigation Conference

Deborah F. Schweizer, a partner at Clapper, Patti, Schweizer, Mason, one of the first law firms in Northern California to represent clients with mesothelioma and other asbestos related diseases, will speak at the 4th Annual Emerging Trends in Asbestos Litigation Conference being conducted April 7-8, 2011, in Chicago, Illinois. The program is being presented by HB Litigation Conferences and will be conducted at the Wyndham Hotel.

Ms. Schweizer will be speaking on the topic of Conduct-Based Claims and Juror Perceptions: Punitive Damages and Intentional Torts. She will be part of a panel which will discuss the standards for and trends in obtaining punitive damages awards in the most active jurisdictions as well as nationwide.

Ms. Schweizer focuses her practices on serious personal injury product liability cases. Since 1992, most of her clients have suffered from asbestos-related illnesses such as mesothelioma, lung cancer and asbestosis. Ms. Schweizer has obtained multiple verdicts in excess of a million dollars on behalf of her clients and their families.
