In September,  my husband was hospitalized for tests and a biopsy. He was diagnosed with incurable mesothelioma.

A friend of ours contacted Clapper, Patti, Schweizer & Mason for us. When Mr. Clapper received the information, he immediately contacted us by phone. Within a week he boarded a plane to fly to our area, and rented a car to drive to our home some 60 miles or so from the airport.

When he arrived at our home we were surprised by the information he had already gathered concerning the ships my husband had served aboard. Once he got the necessary information he needed from us to proceed with the case, he returned to his office in California, where he and his staff spent many hours investigating our case and getting all the medical reports from the doctors and hospital where my husband had been treated.

Because of my husband's failing health, Mr. Clapper assembled documentation, made swift arrangements for a videographer and clerk recorder, and contacted the representatives from the involved corporations, in order to hold a deposition in our area.

In January 1999 we started receiving checks, and have received numerous settlement checks since that time. My husband passed away in July 1999, but Clapper, Patti, Schweizer & Mason continue to represent my family to this date.
