Evidence suggests that Lovastatin has arrested or destroyed tumors in some 80% of people who received it. The key is to combine Lovastatin with Interferon to reduce the toxicity of the cholesterol drug. Clinicians see the Lovstatin-Interferon combination as treatment for mesothelioma, and for pancreatic, colon and renal cancers. The protocol includes precisely timed administration of low-dose Interferon and Lovastatin. Fewer than 20% of those treated with the Interferon-Lovastatin combination have failed to respond well. Among the advantages is the absence of toxic side effects such as fatigue.
